I’m Michael Hamilton, the photographer behind MHP.
Based in Oak Hill, Ohio, with deep roots in Eastern Kentucky, I created Michael Hamilton Photography to capture the people, places and memories that matter most. I photograph couples, seniors, families, individuals, school sports, special events and dirt track racing throughout Southern Ohio and Eastern Kentucky.
I want every session to feel comfortable, personal and true to you. Whether I’m capturing a quiet family moment, a senior celebrating an important year, an athlete under the lights or the action at a racetrack, every client receives the same attention and care.
Racing will always be part of my story—Atomic Speedway and Jackson County Speedway are my home tracks, Florence Speedway is my favorite, and Late Models are my favorite class—but MHP is about capturing all kinds of moments for the communities I call home.

Where do you travel?
Based in Oak Hill, Ohio, Michael Hamilton Photography travels throughout Southern Ohio, including the Cincinnati and Columbus areas; across Eastern Kentucky, from Ashland to Jenkins, and into the Lexington area; and throughout Western West Virginia.
